The Apostolic Exhortation "Evangelii Gaudium" represents the programmatic beginning of the pontificate of Pope Francis. It has caused much attention and diverse reactions.

In this volume of the series “One World Theology” (OWT) authors from different continents look upon the various facets and different subjects of the text: From the missionary transformation of the church, the crisis of a joint commitment, the proclamation of the Gospel up to the social dimension of Evangelization.
